Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
8-week Mindfulness Meditation Intensive Program
“The best way to capture moments is to pay attention. This is how we cultivate mindfulness. Mindfulness means being awake. It means knowing what you are doing.”
― Jon Kabat-Zinn, Wherever You Go, There You Are
Join us for an 8-week program designed to help participants develop a different relationship to stress and to increase their health and well-being. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an intensive training, developed by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, to help individuals cultivate practical skills to better manage stress and increase calm in their lives. During this group program, participants will be taken through weekly sessions that incorporate mindfulness meditation and mindful Hatha yoga. MBSR offers potential benefits for all types of participants dealing with a wide range of chronic stress and pain.
“The majority of MBSR program participants report lasting decreases in psychological and physical symptoms exacerbated by chronic stress.” – The Centre for Mindfulness Studies
