In Forma Theatre facilitates participatory theatre-based workshops and programs in places and with people not normally associated with artistic creation and performance. With anyone. Anywhere.
We utilize theatre activities that are engaging for everyone, from the most to the least outgoing participants. We always start from our participants’ real life experiences and focus on exploring commonalities, sharing stories and creating high-quality art. Our process-oriented approach focuses on discovering shared connections and building friendships while exploring community issues. Our participants are encouraged to embrace spontaneity and collectively create a performance that represents the commonalities and collective experiences of the entire group.
Our techniques include Theatre of the Oppressed, mime, improvisational theatre, story telling, photo-voice, and clown.
